Judy B. Cleaves, Broker/Owner

Judy is a native of Savannah, Georgia and a long time resident of Winter Haven, Florida. She attended the University of Florida, raised three children, and obtained a real estate license in 1978. She worked for a local broker for 9 years before organizing Judy B. Cleaves Properties Inc, in 1986.

She furthered her real estate education by achieving a GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and a CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) designation. She served as chairman and officer of each level in the East Polk County Association of REALTORS before being elected President in 1993. She was also elected to serve as District X Vice President for the Florida Association of REALTORS in 1995.

Judy has been involved in many community groups such as Girls, Inc., Board of Trustees for Polk Museum of Art, member Polk County Zoning Board of Adjustment, Rotarian, member of Mainstreet Winter Haven, Inc. Her interests lie in the redevelopment of Downtown Winter Haven and its historical buildings.

Her fellow REALTOR friends honored Judy with "REALTOR OF THE YEAR" in 1994.

In 1992 she graduated from the Winter Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.  She was honored by her fellow graduates in 1998 with the "Outstanding Alumni Award of the Year" and received a scholarship to attend the Leadership program for the state of Florida.

Girls, Inc. honored Judy in 1997 with the award, "She Knows Where She is Going".

She currently serves as President of the Winter Haven Area Chamber of Commerce.  Her responsibilities have included tourism, economic development,  chamber promotions, and service on the Executive Board.

She is celebrating a 14 year Symphony of Success this year in the real estate business and plans to continue to be progressive in the industry.
